Maybe you know this feeling.

You spend a lot of time in your head. You replay conversations, worry about what could go wrong, question whether you made the right choice, or get stuck on thoughts that are hard to move past. You might avoid certain situations, ask for reassurance, check things, overprepare, or try to think your way into feeling certain. It might help for a little while, but somehow the anxiety always comes back.

At Ascend Anxiety Clinic, we help you get unstuck from the patterns that keep anxiety in charge, so you can spend less time managing fear and more time living your life.

If overcoming anxiety were as simple as trying harder, you probably wouldn’t be here. The problem isn’t a lack of effort. Often, the things we do to feel safer, more certain, or more in control end up keeping us stuck. Specialized therapy can help you understand what’s happening beneath the anxiety and learn different ways of responding, so it doesn’t have to shape so much of your life.

Our Office

Evidence-Based Therapies

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

CBT helps identify and challenge patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be contributing to anxiety, panic, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm while building healthier coping strategies and greater emotional awareness.

ERP is a highly effective treatment for OCD and anxiety-related disorders that helps reduce fear, compulsions, avoidance, and reassurance-seeking by gradually building tolerance for uncertainty and discomfort.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Nervous System Regulation

Nervous system-informed approaches help clients better understand stress responses, emotional dysregulation, and the mind-body connection while developing tools for grounding, regulation, and emotional resilience.

ACT helps clients develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions while building psychological flexibility and reconnecting with the values, relationships, and experiences that matter most.
